Review:This past week we had spent some time crossing a bridge and having the sky fall and ground crumble. We have really enjoyed our fair tales! The weather was a little chilly, but we tried to make it out a couple times this week. The rec center was a lot of fun! I'm sure the kiddos slept well that night, I know I did. Looking Ahead:We will wrap up our study on fair tales this week with The Princess and the Pea and Jack and the Beanstalk. We may even be visited by the giant this week!!! On Monday, we will have the opportunity to deliver May Day baskets and sing some song for the residents of Royal Meadows and Crown Pointe. We will leave preschool at 9:15 and 1:15. Please be sure to send a booster seat with your child on Monday. They should also wear their Stepping Stones t-shirts.

Review:This past week was a whirl wind! I apologize for not updated this blog these past two weeks. We began our fairy tale study this week with The Little Red Hen. We worked together to make bread for our snack on Thursday. Sarah Davelaar (Sunday Ford's Helper) came and taught us how to go owling and showed us a Great Horned Owl and its wing. We also got to watch April the giraffe and her little boy a little this week during choice time. It was so exciting to finally have the baby there! Looking Ahead:We have a field trip to the Dordt Rec Center on Monday! Due to a scheduling conflict we had to change the day of the field trip from Tuesday to Monday. The morning class will leave around 9:15 and return around 11:00. The afternoon class will leave around 1:00 and return around 2:45. Please be sure to send a booster seat with your child and send them in clothes and shoes that are appropriate for running around and exercising.
